spool<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The 3D printer comes with two small samples of filament: ABS and PLA.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can use it for your first prints and it\u2019s very handy if you forgot to order filament or if it hasn\u2019t arrived yet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter I also made other small mistakes along the way that made me remove parts and start over&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As far as the assembly goes, it is finished for now. I can say that all the parts feel sturdy.\u00a0The 3D printer wires were still a bit messy at this point, but I wanted to make that it was printing correctly before I started organizing the wires&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-41628\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/randomnerdtutorials.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/7.jpg?resize=750%2C421&#038;quality=100&#038;strip=all&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"750\" height=\"421\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/randomnerdtutorials.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/7.jpg?w=750&amp;quality=100&amp;strip=all&amp;ssl=1 750w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/randomnerdtutorials.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/7.jpg?resize=300%2C168&amp;quality=100&amp;strip=all&amp;ssl=1 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I recommend using painters tape so that it\u2019s easier to remove the 3D printed items from the bed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-41629\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/randomnerdtutorials.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/8.jpg?resize=600%2C337&#038;quality=100&#038;strip=all&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"337\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/randomnerdtutorials.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/8.jpg?w=600&amp;quality=100&amp;strip=all&amp;ssl=1 600w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/randomnerdtutorials.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/8.jpg?resize=300%2C169&amp;quality=100&amp;strip=all&amp;ssl=1 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Note:<\/strong> in my prints I&#8217;ve used PLA filament, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sketchup.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SketchUp <\/a>to design the 3D parts, <a href=\"http:\/\/slic3r.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Slic3r<\/a>\u00a0to generate the G-code and <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/hyu754\/TEVO-PRINTER-FILES\/tree\/master\/Config\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">these config<\/a> files for Slic3r.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>About my first prints<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">My first couple of prints failed, because I was still trying to level the bed.
